Personal Lines Claims Specialist with minimum 3 years’ relevant short term insurance experience and industry qualifications, required to assist in managing all complaints received from Ombudsman, Internal Arbiter and Insurance Provider.

Minimum requirements:

  • Full FAIS qualification required
  • RE5 essential
  • Minimum 3 years’ claims experience essential


  • Manage all claims complaints prepare feedback on matters to the Ombudsman, Internal Arbiter and the Insurer Complaints Line
  • Assist with investigating all complex claims
  • Present claims for discussion to the Repudiation Forum
  • Prepare all repudiation letters to clients and sent timeoulsy
  • Escalated claims enquiries
  • Handle and manage large loss claims from start to finalisation
  • SASRIA claims – full function
  • Random checks on all high value claims
  • Claims management
  • Complaints management
  • Settlement recommendations
  • Claims approvals
  • Claims payments
