Salary: Market Related


Candidate with minimum 3 years’ tax administration experience within the Accounting Industry, required for a support service role in the Tax Department of this Accounting/Auditing Firm.

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Exposure to Individual Tax, Gross Income, Exempt Income and Deductions essential
  • Experience in Farming Calculations required
  • Lump Sum Calculations
  • Taxation of Trusts
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience essential


  • Checking income tax calculations and returns of Individuals and Trusts
  • Notifying Accounts Clerk of errors and omissions iro income tax calculations/returns/required supporting documentation for correction and updating purposes
  • Follow up on corrections
  • Determine of 3rd provisional payments or transfers of income tax credit is required
  • Record keeping of all processes
  • Submit Individual and Trust income tax returns via e-filing
  • Submit final copy if income tax returns via e-filing
  • Record completion of submissions on Workpool
  • Dispatch completed returns to clients
  • Typing of cover letters for tax returns
  • Prepare income tax returns for sign-off by partners
  • Prepare income tax returns for postage to clients
  • Follow up on returns and annual financial statements
  • Received signed documents from clients
  • Administrative support to Tax Department staff
  • Prepare medical schedules/logbooks from statements
  • Recording of weekly time sheet
