Experienced Outbound Telesales Team Leader – specific to Short Term Insurance, required to manage Telesales Team and provide expert advice.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • RE essential
  • FAIS compliant for Short Term Insurance essential
  • Minimum 3 years’ Team Leader experience in an outbound short term insurance sales call centre essential
  • Minimum 3 years’ short term insurance experience required



  • Lead and manage 8-15 outbound telesales agents
  • Provide expert advice and manage direct sales team
  • Business retention
  • Drive team performance to achieve sales targets
  • Accurate communication to all stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Assessment and quality assurance
  • Ensure Personal Lines underwriting practice is adhered to
  • Complaints and escalated queries
  • Conduct regular audits of PL underwriting
  • Compile, distribute reports
  • Adhere to company mandates
  • Report fraud, misrepresentation and dishonesty
  • Coaching and mentoring of direct reports
  • Manage team performance
  • Personal development plans for direct reports
