Commercial Underwriter with minimum 3 years’ Short Term Insurance Underwriting experience preferably within a Broker environment, required for a national Brokerage based in Bedfordview.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant Insurance related qualification – FAIS & RE required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in short term broker environment
- Minimum 3 years’ Commercial Underwriting exp required
- Experience in a Broker environment required
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to underwriting process and turn around times to ensure clients are correctly covered and comply to FAIS requirements
- Provide assistance to Account Executives to enable them to render excellent service
- Process new business applications and renewals
- Prepare market exercises
- Monitor outstanding premiums
- Customer service
