Regional Sales Manager with minimum 7 years’ experience in a sales leadership role and a proven track record for managing and engaging with Executives, Senior Managers and Managers, preferably in the Motor/Insurance Industry, required for new business development in the Motor Dealer environment focusing on Warranty Insurance, Service and Maintenance Plans and other VAPS’s.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric essential
- Tertiary qualifications highly advantageous
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a sales leadership role required
- Experience as an established Regional Manager or a long-standing Dealer Consultant in the Western Cape with an established network and dealership relationships preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle warrant, service plans and other Value Added Products required
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Sales
- Meet and exceed company’s business development goals
- Implement Motor Dealer sales strategy in the Region
- Craft and execute strategic objectives, deliver results and motivate team
- Managing sales targets and relationships with targeted Motor Dealers
- Grow network throughout the Region
- Lead Regional Team
- Annual business plan targets – develop and meet targets
- Compliance
- Key stakeholder communication
- Manage resources – attracting, hiring and retention of staff
- Collaboration with all stakeholders
- Annual budget monitoring
- Marketing strategies
- Maintain quality of products, service and service level agreements
- Define and drive sales initiatives
- Relationship building and management
