Head of Institutional and Strategic Initiatives: Asset Management – Constantia, Cape Town

Head of Institutional and Strategic Initiatives candidate with a B.Com Investments/Finance or Economics Degree and minimum 10 years’ Asset Management experience and established strategic corporate and executive advisory relationships, required to develop strategic partnerships within prioritised distribution channels for an Asset Management Company based in Cape Town.

 

Minimum requirements:

  • BCom Investments / Finance / Economics Degree essential
  • CFA or CFP qualification or studying towards this qualification highly advantageous
  • Honours Degree in Investments advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years’ Asset Management Industry experience required
  • Ability to engage at executive level required
  • A strong relationship and networking focus
  • Established strategic corporate and executive advisory relationship required

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic partnerships
  • Engage existing and targeted clients on investment capabilities and services
  • Influence key stakeholders across institutional, DFM’s, MM and senior strategic partners critical for Asset Management growth
  • Develop framework for business and execute agreed sales strategy
  • Build and develop pipeline, manage net flow and business risk
  • Develop and maintain strategic business plans for priority partners
